I started No Man’s Land as a coaching platform to help men get off porn. I was about a year off of porn at the time and I’d felt like I knew the tricks. I focused on that for a bit, and truthfully, I always will. Porn is a destructive force in our world - cultivating an unsafe environment for all, while stunting real intimacy and the depth of real sexual experience.

However, even though I had quit porn and been off for a while, - seeing progress internally - I knew there was so much more to do, see, learn and become if I was to be truly fulfilled. Slowly, I wanted to talk less about just porn, and more about the issues under the surface, pulling the strings.

No Man’s Land Press is the shovel, digging underground to find what’s at the core of men’s issues, men’s fulfillment, and the male experience in general. I knew I didn’t want it to be the David show (save that for poetry readings haha). I want NMLP to be the journal that men rely on. And so, I’ll always pour my heart and effort into making it so.
